It may be a dilemma for many businesses whether they would move into a bigger office and what are the things to consider on getting a new one.

Moving into a new office can be pretty stressful but let us share with you our experience so you can consider and learn how we deal with the major move in.

We had our office in Stone Mountain Drive for the past 3 years and there are alot of things that we considered before moving to our new office home in Parklake Drive. We realized that with our growing family we would need to have more coworking space for the room for the employees to comfortably work.

We took some time to decide whether to move or not. Preparing the business is the first thing we did. We anticipated that there would be a downtime and since we need to keep up with the deadline and we cannot afford to lose so much, Scheduling played a big role, especially since we decided to close the business for about a week, we let everyone know about the relocation.

We visited the new location 2 days before the moving date. We make sure that it is clean and ready for occupancy. All the outlets and electric grid are inspected and made sure that it's working because once equipment has already set in, it would be difficult for any repairs to be taken care of . We decided to have the walls painted with colors salmon pink and gold that matches the organization’s color branding.

We packed everything according to how essential they are. From equipment, furniture decor and paperwork. Since the new office in Parklake Drive is very spacious, we decided to add more furniture to entertain our visitors. We certainly love to add another set of tables to our pantry for the employees to enjoy.

Once we were able to set up the bigger equipment , We made sure that we also brought those personal things which would make us feel loved like our plants and pictures to keep our day with a smile.

A day after the move in we decided to throw an office warming party just to make feel the good vibe of our new working place.

A Dream Foundation Inc. is an organization that aims

to bring hope and promote empowerment to individuals by providing them support on how they can cope with situations by providing them support groups, mental and counseling platforms, and self-development programs which can help them face their day to day challenges which would benefit not only themselves, their families and community.

Especially at this time of pandemic where hopelessness is abundant, we engage ourselves and support different activities that would support women empowerment. We always believe that women have a very strong force to create an enormous difference in the community.

Travelling Divas is a Travel and Tour Company owned by mother and daughter Paula and Amity Hill. They arranged an amazing getaway tour for our lovely ladies from the Southern Georgia community in Thomasville Georgia at such a wonderful deal. Budget friendly and full of exciting activities that made their time out worthwhile. It was an absolute pleasure for A Dream Foundation Inc to participate and donate an amount to cover some of the trip’s expenses for the ladies to enjoy during their quick escape.

There are a lot of activities that happened during this weekend getaway. It was one of the Travelling Divas first Trip after the pandemic and it was an absolute success.

It was a cozy day for the ladies, the weather has set the mood for a sip and paint. The women of Thomasville Georgia had an activity which brought them camaraderie, a good memory to cherish from a great tasting wine, a canvas, paintbrush and paint with a bunch of creativity in mind.

The next stop is the East side brotherhood murals inspired by an event in Jacksonville’s history, it was known as the “Ax Handle Saturday” The University of North Florida and students from different Jacksonville high schools gave an interpretation of the said event .The women of Southern Georgia appreciated and had their picture taking at the murals.

A stop at the Saint John town center and Dillard's clearance center gave them a way to shop at their favorite store to buy some souvenirs for this wonderful trip at such a low price.

At the end of the day this tour provides them a priceless experience, the knowledge, friendship and the smiles on their face is something that they can take back to their home in Thomasville Georgia.
